Shattered Veil Easter Egg Walkthrough
After obtaining one Empty Canister from a Blue Crystal, this method can no longer be used. For example, if you’ve destroyed the Service Tunnel crystal and collected the Empty Canister, the other crystals will no longer drop one. You must use the two remaining methods below to obtain canisters for the other Ray Gun upgrades.
1 | Check the Letter in the Mainframe Chamber |
---|---|
![]() In the Mainframe Chamber underground, there is a Gas Chamber in the northeast of the room with a letter sign to its left, displaying either "A" or "B". Check and take note of the letter. |
|
2 | Throw Tomahawks at the Correct Valves |
![]() Head to the Service Tunnel and find the small opening where pipes and valves with "A" and "B" letter signs can be seen. The valves can be seen will be out of bounds. First, throw a Combat Axe at the bottom-middle valve, and the pipe will begin to release steam. Then, throw another Axe at the valve that corresponds to the letter (A or B) from the Mainframe Chamber. |
|
3 | Blow Up the Gas Chamber |
![]() Return to the Gas Chamber where you saw the "A" or "B" sign initially, and blow up the chamber with an explosive. |
|
4 | Pick Up the Empty Canister |
![]() After blowing up the chamber, the Empty Canister will be ready for you to pick up. |
In the Zombie Spawn window by the Mansion's Rear Patio, there is an Empty Canister inside. You can pull it out by throwing an LT53 Kazimir on the ground outside of it.
The Canisters are required to upgrade the Ray Gun Mark II. The upgrades not only make it more powerful but allow it to do certain actions needed for the Easter Eggs of the Shattered Veil map.
The Empty Canisters are not enough on their own and need extra steps to fill them to be able to upgrade the Ray Gun.
