The Brain Rot Ammo Mod is unlocked at Level 27 of Zombies Mode.

Get from Rare Loot or Arsenal Machines

Arsenal Machines

You can get the Brain Rot Ammo Mod as a rare loot drop or buy it with Salvage at Arsenal Machines found around the map. Salvage can be obtained as loot from zombies, in the same way that you can obtain Essence from them.

Plague
Plague 		Major Augment The charmed zombie has a chance to turn other zombies.
Pheromone
Pheromone 		Major Augment The charmed zombie distracts nearby Normal and Special zombies for a short time.
Big Game
Big Game 		Major Augment Brain Rot can charm Elite zombies
Extension
Extension 		Minor Augment Brain Rot duration is slightly increased.
Haste
Haste 		Minor Augment Brain Rot cooldown is slightly reduced.
Explosive
Explosive 		Minor Augment Charmed zombies explode at the end of Brain Rot’s duration, dealing toxic damage.

Brain Rot Ammo Mod effects can be strengthened through Minor and Major Augments that are accessed and equipped in the pre-game menu before a Zombies Mode match.

Augments will have to be obtained through the research paths you progress in the menus of Zombies Mode.
