The PP-919 is a satisfactory SMG out of the box, having a high ammo count of 64 and good recoil control. On its own, it already does a base damage of 25 per shot within 10m (4 torso shots to kill).

For better first shot, horizontal, and vertical recoil, equip the Ported Compensator. For increases to mobility and speed such as strafing and hipfire movement, equip No Stock, then use the Quickdraw Grip to maximize ADS speed.

Lastly, the gun's high ammo count is best paired with Rapid Fire to achieve a shorter the time-to-kill. Equip a Merlin Reflex or any sight of your choice that does not reduce ADS speed.
