The Maelstrom is the game's first fully automatic shotgun and is the fastest-firing in its class, beating out the ASG-89 in almost twice its RPM. Just focus on having Recoil Springs to make its recoil more manageable since it already has a fast fire rate.

You can improve recoil control further with the Muzzle Break and the Ranger Foregrip. For better gun handling on movement, the Balanced Stock and Ergonomic Grip will give you more movement speed in general and on strafing, hipfire, and aim walking.

Use an Extended Mag I for a 12-round mag, then add a Tactical Laser for Tactical Stance at close-range. If you prefer to go full ADS, you can opt for an Optic instead of the Tactical Laser.

Like the ASG-89. Going with Enforcer-related perks in this loadout will give you the most benefit due to movement buffs from Dexterity and Double Time.

For equipment, go with Stim Shot for quick heals and tactical sprint refresh, Semtex for a lethal option, and Spring Mines for setting up traps to cover your flanks.
