Salvage is used to upgrade and modify your weapons in Call of Duty Black Ops 6 (BO6) Zombies. This guide will show you the fastest ways to farm Salvage and where to use it effectively in the game.
List of Contents
How to Earn Salvage Faster |
---|
Deal Critical Damage on Zombies (Headshots / Explosives) Equip the Silencer (Loadout Attachment) Activate Rampage Inducer (Increases overall difficulty) Vending Machine Easter Egg (Meleeing the Vending Machine) Blood Pool Easter Egg (Throwing 3x Semtex) |
Salvage drops randomly when you kill zombies, but you can increase drop rates by dealing critical damage. Aim for headshots and use explosives on zombie hordes to clear waves efficiently and boost your Salvage yields.
Adding the Suppressor Muzzle Attachment increases the chance of dropping extra salvage per zombie kill. You unlock this attachment early at Weapon Level 2 — The Silencer can be equipped on your loadout from the get-go.
To boost Salvage farming while amping up the challenge, activate the Rampage Inducer in the starting area to increase zombie spawn rates. Though not the most efficient method for Salvage farming, this option is great for players seeking an adrenaline rush while earning extra Salvage.
Once per round, you can crouch and melee the vending machine on the left by the Motor Lodge (spawn area), and there is a chance for it to drop Salvage.
Note: The vending machine's hitbox is a bit finicky. Move around while crouching and meleeing it until you find the sweet spot.
You can get a total of 200 Salvages for doing the Blood Pool Easter Egg. To get the Salvages, head over to the West Main Street and throw 3 Semtex at the Blood Pool near the Armor Wall Buy.
Blood Pool (Red Orb) Easter Egg Walkthrough
Salvage can be spent at Arsenal Machines to upgrade weapon rarities and apply Ammo Mods, while Crafting Tables let you use Salvage to create Tactical, Lethal, and Support Equipment. Spend your Salvage wisely based on your team’s needs.
Weapon Rarity Effects Explained
Each player receives their own Salvage drops, so there’s no need to race against each other to pick it up during combat.
