Make sure to have the most optimal loadout every time you play solo. Equip the best possible attachments available on your weapon of choice.
If you have resources available for research, make sure to spend it to Augment your Perks, Ammo Mods, and Field Upgrades.
In the early rounds, try to kill the Zombies with only your knife to get more essence and open up the rest of the map faster. This also allows you to buy your Perks and Pack-a-Punch at a faster pace.
You will want to have the maximum amount of firepower, especially since you are going through the waves of Zombies alone. Be sure to get all of the Perks and an Ammo Mod as soon as you have the essence for them.
Since you have no teammates to revive you, having a constant stock of Self-Revive is a must. You can only have one at a time, and if you consume one, be sure to restock as soon as you can.
Zombies Guide: Everything You Need to Know
Knife kills actually give you less essence on b06, headshots give you 115, while knifes only give you 105. Go for headshots.
