Zombies Mode difficulty can be changed via the Rampage Inducer in Call of Duty Black Ops 6 (BO6). Learn about the difficulty differences when using Rampage Inducers and difficulty tips.

The Rampage Inducer is a machine on the map that allows you to increase the difficulty of the match when activated. There's no setting for decreasing difficulty.
To activate the Rampage Inducer, interact with the orange-hued Aether Crystal container near your spawn point. The effects will activate after a short delay. You can deactivate the Rampage Inducer at any time if needed.
In a Squad game, all players must vote to activate or deactivate the Rampage Inducer.

| XP Levels | XP earnings are increased. |
Increasing the zombies difficulty with the Rampage Inducer gives you an opportunity to farm more Essence, Salvage, and XP more efficiently, giving you a boost to prepare for the later rounds or Easter Eggs.
Zombies mode is naturally difficult for beginners since you're starting out with basic equipment and loadouts.
Level up your character to unlock more loadout options like equipment, Field Upgrades, and GobbleGums. It is best to just play first, level up, and get a hang of the Zombies Mode maps first.
Make sure to research Augments too unlock buffs to Perks and Field Upgrades.

Remember that you can start and deactivate the Rampage Inducer at any time. Starting it early while you still have not unlocked parts of the map like in, for example, Liberty Falls, can make it harder for you to get access to important points like perk machines.
Make sure to cover key locations of the Zombies Mode map first and figure out points of escape against hordes, as well as zombie spawns.
