Can You Drop Money?
Cannot Drop Essence and Salvage
Money, such as Essence and Salvage, cannot be dropped by a player in Zombies Mode. They are only individual player earnings for zombies killed by them.
Essence is earned from zombies killed by your hand or through power-ups such as Bonus Points. The power-up Double Points will double Essence gain for everyone.
Salvage can be earned as drops from killed zombies and Salvage drop chances can be increased by using a gun with the Suppressor attachment equipped.
How to Share Money
You cannot directly share money to other players, so the only ways you can is by letting other players take zombie kills themselves. Essence dropped as pickup items on the ground can be picked up by anyone, so you can let others pick those up instead.
Alternatively, you can lessen the costs for other players when unlocking barriers or shortcuts to other areas in zombies maps by paying half. You can also activate a Fire Sale power-up which greatly discounts Essence costs for Mystery Boxes.
What Can Be Dropped?
Weapons and Equipment Can Be Dropped
Weapons can only be dropped if you switch them out with a new one on the ground, or when you buy a 3rd weapon through Weapon Wall Buys or the Mystery Box since a 2nd buy goes into your 2nd weapon slot.
Equipment, such as Tacticals, Lethals, and Support, can also be dropped only via switching them out from ground loot or getting equipment that will replace yours from the Crafting Table.
Ammo Mods are Replaced at Arsenal Machines
Ammo Mods are not dropped directly and instead replaced when using Arsenal Machines.
However, Ammo Mods earned through other means, such as SAM Trials rewards, can be dropped if you already have that same Ammo Mod equipped. Other players will be able to pick up dropped Ammo Mods.
Perk-a-Cola Copies are Dropped if You Have One Already
In a similar way to Ammo Mods, Perk-a-Colas are dropped only if you have that perk equipped already beforehand. But unlike them, neither replacements nor extras can be purchased at Perk-a-Cola Machines.
Perk-a-Colas can also be earned through activities like the SAM Trials and dropped ones can be picked up by other players.
