Bots Lobbies can be made in a private match of Call of Duty Black Ops 6 (BO6) through the Add Bots function. Learn how to add bots in a private match, how to adjust bot difficulty, and what Bot Lobbies can also refer to.

Bot Lobbies can be made by adding bots in a Private Match lobby. Click on the plus signs to add bots to each team for a max of 11 bots per match. Bot difficulty can also be adjusted from Recruit (easiest) all the way to Veteran (hardest).
However, do note that private matches will not reward you with XP or account progression. If you are looking for an easy way to farm XP and weapon levels, then you will not find it in a private lobby.
Getting into "Bot Lobbies" or "Low Skill" player lobbies can also be related to COD's Skill Based Matchmaking system or SBMM. Entrance into these lobbies is a result of several factors, with Skill (calculated by wins, losses, K/D ratio) being a notable factor that impacts lobby placement.
Consistent poor performance in multiplayer can result in a low Skill Rating which increases the chances of SBMM sending you to "Bot Lobbies". Do note that SBMM also considers other factors like connection time, game modes, maps, and player availability when matchmaking.

Bot Lobbies refer to setting up a Private Match with bots or AI-controlled players. All progression unlocks can be used in this lobby and other players can also be invited to it. No XP and account progression is gained in a Private Match.
Players can be invited to the Private Match by selecting the lobby list's plus signs and choosing Invite Player. They will also be able to join when they input the 5-digit Game Code when selecting Join Private Match.
Most COD players refer to Low-Skill Rating lobbies when they use the term "Bot Lobbies." While typically derogatory, this is usually attributed to the shared experience of getting stomped in one match and then stomping the enemy team in the next.
This back-and-forth of match difficulty is a product of COD's Skill-Based Matchmaking system or SBMM. SBMM is designed to adjust online matchups based on several factors like skill, connection speed, and location, to help send players to a fair and stable lobby.
