The Thermo Grenade is used to create a cloud that deals explosive damage in a wide area. This is handy for forcing enemies out of cover or other hiding spots, especially when you push objectives in game modes like Domination and Hardpoint. You can throw the Thermo Grenade by pressing E on keyboard or R1/RB on controller.
The Thermo Grenade is unlocked when you reach Level 21. You can earn XP to level up by playing matches in Multiplayer or Zombies. The XP gained scales with your performance during the match.
