Cursed Talisman Easter Egg Walkthrough
Talk to Captain Gregg
| 1 | Get Melee Macchiato |
|---|---|
 First, obtain the Melee Macchiato perk. The Melee Macchiato machine is found on the north side, bottom level of the Bio Lab. |
|
| 2 | Check out the Sea Caves Treasure Map |
 Head south west out of the Bio Lab and into the Sea Caves. There's a jagged wall on the west side that has a hole you can peer through to see a treasure map. Melee the wall to reveal Captain Gregg. On the treasure map, there'll be an X that marks the spot you have to go to next. It'll be random per playthrough. |

| 3 | Find a Watch at the X Spot |
 Take the Tactical Raft to the spot marked on your map. Swim underwater around the shore of the X-mark and you should be able to see a gold-glowing Watch. Pick this item up. |

| 4 | Return to Captain Gregg's Treasure Map |
 Head back to Captain Gregg at the Sea Cave. Interact with him and the map will update. 3 locations will be marked on the map: Temple Island, Castle Rock Island, and the Shipwreck. |

| 5 | Obtain 3 Molotovs |
 Before you head off to the next X-spot treasure map location, you first need to obtain 3 molotovs. You can craft the 3 molotovs at a Crafting Table for 350 Salvage each (total of 1,050 Salvage) starting from Level 32. You don't need all 3 Molotovs at once, so you can come back if you don't have enough Salvage, but it's more time-efficient if you can craft them all at once. |

| 6 | Find 3 Marked Skeletons |
 Head to the 3 locations marked in Step 4; Temple Island, Castle Rock Island, and the Shipwreck. There will be a skeleton corpse found on each. Throw the molotov onto the skeleton. |

| 7 | Pick Up Cursed Coins |
 It will spawn a special Zombie. Defeat the special Zombie and pick up the Cursed Coin afterward. You'll need to do this 3 times at the 3 marked islands above. You can do them in any order. |
|
| 8 | Return to Sea Caves Treasure Map |
 Interact with Captain Gregg again and he will drop you mutliple Legendary Rarity Weapons, even if you're solo. Also, the map will update again for the final X-spot. |
|
| 9 | Go to Crab Island |
 Head to the final X-spot at Crab Island. You need to complete 3 rounds there, so for example, if you arrive at Round 14, finish Rounds 14, 15, and 16 there and you'll be done with this step when Round 17 starts. |
|
| 10 | Obtain the Cursed Talisman |
 After completing 3 rounds at Crab Island, a treasure chest will spawn at the start of the next round. Interact with it and grab the Cursed Talisman inside to complete the easter egg. |
Cursed Talisman Easter Egg Rewards
Gold Weapons
You can obtain a bunch of random Legendary rarity weapons for free just by doing most of this easter egg—you don't even have to finish the easter egg.
Treasure Hunter Trophy
Completing this easter egg also makes you find the final Talisman needed to get the Treasure Hunter trophy/achievement!
