The Dark Flare field upgrade becomes accessible once you reach Level 20. Upon reaching this level requirement, you can equip it in your Loadout under the Field Upgrade slot.

A Beam That Kills Zombies in a Line

Black Ops 6 Dark Flare Beam

The Dark Flare Field Upgrade unleashes a powerful energy beam that delivers devastating shadow damage, piercing through all zombies in a straight line.

Reduce Cooldown by Killing Zombies

Black Ops 6 Field Upgrade Cooldown Meter

The Dark Flare has a cooldown after each use, but killing zombies speeds up the recharge. You can monitor the cooldown timer on the bottom right of your screen, which is shown as a circular icon with a green meter above the weapon and lethal equipment icons.

Augment Type Effect
SupernovaSupernova Major Augment The beam is replaced with a sphere that damages nearby enemies as it travels. The ball detonates at the end of Dark Flare’s duration.
