How to Equip and Use Emotes

Equip Emotes from the Barracks Menu

How to Equip Emote

You can check and equip your Emotes on the Customization Option from the Barracks Menu. Select an Emote slot to see all of your available Emotes in the game.

Note that you can only equip 4 Emotes at a time.

Press the Emote Button in a Match

Keyboard Press i Key
Controller Press and Hold Left D-Pad Key

You can use Emotes by pressing its button during the match. You can press the "i" key to use an Emote if you're on the keyboard, and you can press and hold the Left key on the D-Pad if you're on the controller.

Level Up Your Account

BO6 Progression Window
You can get emotes if your progress your account level to specific levels in the game. These emotes will permanently stay and won't relock if you prestige your account.

Participate in the Beta

Open Beta Rewards for Week 1 and 2
You can get the Quick Draw Emote if you participated in the Open Beta and reached Level 20. If you didn't get to that level before the beta ended, you won't be able to get this emote anywhere anymore.

Purchase Store Bundles

BO6 In-game Store
Emotes can appear from Store Bundles, but not as often as other cosmetic items. You can check the store daily to see if there's an emote from the current bundles.

Buy the Seasonal Battle Pass

Battle Pass
You can get many cosmetic items through the battle pass, including some Emotes. You might even get an Emote for free depending on the battle pass!
