How to Play Zombies Duos

Set Party Settings and Turn Off Squad Fill

Party Settings

In your Party Settings at the top-right of the screen (cog icon beside Invite Friend) set your party to Closed to prevent others outside or within a channel from joining your pre-game lobby, then invite 1 player to the party.

Afterwards, toggle Squad Fill off at the bottom-left to prevent random players from joining your Zombies Mode match.

How to Do a Zombies Private Match

Play via Split Screen Coop

BO6 Splitscreen

Split Screen, only be available on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, will also allow you and your friend to play in Zombies Mode as a duo for some traditional couch co-op. In-game, connect a second controller to the console and sign in to an extra Activision Account to activate Split Screen mode.

Once Split Screen is activated, turn off Squad Fill so that only you two will be in the match, then choose Select Mission and set Play as a Squad in Match Settings.
