| Terminus | Liberty Falls |
Located in the Philippine Sea is the remote Terminus Island complex. Historical data indicates a pre-WWII coal mining operator on the island, abandoned around 1932. Ten years later, Terminus became a forward U.S. Naval base. Mothballed until 1965, the CIA converted it into a Top-Secret outpost used for the detention of [Redacted]. In 1984, [Redacted]. In 1986, Project Janus took over the island, building a laboratory in the subterranean mining caves.

Use the location's facilities to your advantage: Open Tentacle Traps that grab zombies and operate the Void Cannon Trap, which is a huge laser that slows and vaporizes enemies. Finally, beware of "The Tentacle" which is a danger to anyone riding a Tactical Raft through smoggy waters.
Players must explore the once-idyllic, now horrific small West Virginian town of Liberty Falls, whose residents have either fled or barricaded themselves into the settlement in a last desperate attempt to survive. By the time you arrive – assumed to be part of the Project Janus forces under the watchful eye of Security Chief John Blanchard – the town is overrun, and the battle seems well and truly lost.

Liberty Falls was a West Virginian town that was seemingly the center of a Dark Aether outbreak. Navigate through this overrun town by finding side paths and shortcuts, and move quickly across town using Ascenders and Ziplines to and uncover the narrative and secrets that lie within.
As revealed in the COD Next Showcase, there will be one more unnamed Zombies Map to come post-launch by the end of 2024, bringing the total up to 3 maps, with the possibility of there being more maps to come next year.
