How to Equip Underbarrels
Equip an Underbarrel via the Gunsmith
Once you have unlocked an Underbarrel attachment for your gun, access the Gunsmith menu, go into the Loadout menu, select a custom loadout, highlight the weapon, and press the button corresponding to the Gunsmith menu.
Note that you will need to have Custom Loadouts unlocked at Progression Level 4 to access the Gunsmith.
What are Underbarrels?
Improves Aim Stability
Underbarrels consists mostly of grips that are used to help with aim stability of your gun. Most notably it improves recoil control and can also reduce weapon sway while aiming down the sight. In some cases, they also increase your movement speed.
Can Add a Grenade Launcher
Specific to Assault Rifles are grenade launchers that you can also equip in the Underbarrel slot. These launchers help you to send grenades towards enemies at a further distance and may also be faster use in certain situations.
