Bullets deal shadow damage. Each bullet has a chance to spawn a black hole on a Normal or Special zombie, warping away those nearby and dropping some from the air at lethal speed.

How to Get Shadow Rift Ammo Mod

Unlocked at Level 44

The Shadow Rift Ammo Mod is unlocked at Level 44 of Zombies Mode.

Get from Rare Loot or Arsenal Machines

You can get the Shadow Rift Ammo Mod as a rare loot drop or buy it with Salvage at Arsenal Machines found around the map. Salvage can be obtained as loot from zombies, in the same way that you can obtain Essence from them.

Explosive Rain	Major Augment	Enemies that are dropped from portals will explode on contact with the ground.
Big Game	Major Augment	Shadow Rift can activate on Elite zombies.
Topple Danger	Major Augment	Warp one zombie that deals shadow damage to others
Targeted	Minor Augment	Dropped enemies will fall on other enemies.
Haste	Minor Augment	Shadow Rift cooldown is reduced.
Supermassive	Minor Augment	The singularity’s lethal radius is increased and can kill more zombies.

Shadow Rift Ammo Mod effects can be strengthened through Minor and Major Augments that are accessed and equipped in the pre-game menu before a Zombies Mode match.

Augments will have to be obtained through the research paths you progress in the menus of Zombies Mode.
