Unlocked at Level 47

Black Ops 6 Aether Shroud Field Upgrade

The Aether Shroud field upgrade becomes accessible once you reach Level 47. Upon reaching this level requirement, you can equip it in your Loadout under the Field Upgrade slot.

Aether Shroud Effects and Uses

Turns You Invisible and Untargetable

Activating Aether Shroud makes you invisible to zombies for 5 seconds, allowing you to reposition freely. This is the best Field Upgrade to use if you find yourself in a dangerous spot, as you are guaranteed a window to escape.

Reduce Cooldown by Killing Zombies

Black Ops 6 Field Upgrade Cooldown Meter

The Aether Shroud has a cooldown after each use, but killing zombies speeds up the recharge. You can monitor the cooldown timer on the bottom right of your screen, which is shown as a circular icon with a green meter above the weapon and lethal equipment icons.

Aether Shroud Major and Minor Augments

Augment Type Effect
Group Shroud
Group Shroud 		Major Augment Nearby players are also cloaked.
Burst Dash
Burst Dash 		Major Augment Warp forward a short distance, killing all normal enemies in your path.
Void Stealth
Void Stealth 		Major Augment Swap to your dedicated melee weapon as it’s imbued with Dark Aether energy. Kills allow you to stay in Aether Shroud for longer.
Instant Reload
Instant Reload 		Minor Augment Activation instantly reloads your currently held weapon
Extra Charge
Extra Charge 		Minor Augment Increase max charges by one.
Extension
Extension 		Minor Augment Aether Shroud duration is significantly increased.
