Black Ops 6 Ground Control

Ground Control is the fourteenth campaign mission in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (BO6). Read on to see a complete walkthrough of Ground Control including tips for beating the mission as well as its completion, challenge, and achievement rewards.

Ground Control Mission Walkthrough

1 Enter the Airport Terminal
Taking out the Snipers and Mortars
Once your helo sets you, Adler, and Sims down, start making your way to the Airport Terminal. Take out the mortars and snipers on the overpass to clear the way to Terminal 1.
2 Fight through the Airport Terminal
Fighting through the Airport Terminal
Fight your way through the Airport Terminal and eliminate the hostiles to reach Gusev's plane. The first section of the terminal will be filled with Iraqi soldiers. After dealing with them, you'll start fighting Pantheon soldiers including heavily armored elites. Fight your way through their RPG-filled killbox to reach upper section of the Terminal.
Note: The first Shotgun-wielding Pantheon Elite that you take down in the terminal will drop a Shotgun with Dragon's Breathe. You can pick it up and use it to clear the No Smoking Challenge.
3 Reach Gusev's Plane
Final Stretch of Reaching Gusev
In the final stretch of reaching Gusev's plane, you'll start fighting multiple armored elites, back-to-back. Just outside the entrance to the plane, you'll have to deal with multiple gas-throwing elites and a heavily armored, minigun elite. Use explosives to stun the elite with the minigun and wait for him to reload before you peek and shoot back.
4 Secure the Plane

Once the way is clear, head inside the plane. Upon reaching the aisle seats, you will be ambushed by Pantheon soldiers and an RC-XD Engineer elite. Take them out and watch the team realize that Gusev is not on the plane.
5 Cross the Tarmac and Commandeer the Tank
Fighting Through the Tarmac
With Gusev missing, Adler starts improvising to reach the scientist's real plane. Fight your way across the Airport's Tarmac until you reach the tank that you can comandeer.
6 Intercept Gusev's Plane and Shoot it Down
Intercepting Gusev
Drive the tank through the airport and make sure to take down the hostiles with RPGs as they will deal significant damage to the tank. Once you get vision of Gusev's plane, shoot it down. All it takes is one shot.
7 Interrogate Gusev
Gusev Interrogation
After shooting down Gusev's plane, Adler will try to get information out of Gusev before passing him over to you. Choose from the dialogue options to get answers out of Gusev (does not matter what you choose). The mission ends after this sequence.

No Smoking Challenge
No Smoking		 Kill 10 enemies with a Dragon's Breath shotgun in a single play through of Ground Control.

You can get the Shotgun with Dragon's Breath from the first Pantheon Elite that you fight in the Airport Terminal. He will spawn after they start throwing smokes.

Mission Overview Adler's got a buddy in CENTCOM who may be able to get us to the airport in Kuwait. It's in a hot zone though. Better come through - once Gusev gets in the air he'll be totally off the map.
