How to Get Energy Mine Field Upgrade

Unlocked by Default

Black Ops 6 Energy Mine Field Upgrade
The Energy Mine field upgrade is the first field upgrade available, and it is immediately unlocked at Level 1 in Zombies mode. By default, it is automatically equipped in your loadout under the Field Upgrade slot.

Energy Mine Effects and Uses

Provides Burst Damage in an Area

The Energy Mine releases an orb that pulses three times, damaging all enemies within its radius. This field upgrade is particularly effective for wiping out large groups of tightly clustered zombies.

Reduce Cooldown by Killing Zombies

Black Ops 6 Field Upgrade Cooldown Meter

The Energy Mine has a cooldown after each use, but killing zombies speeds up the recharge. You can monitor the cooldown timer on the bottom right of your screen, shown as a circular icon with a green meter above the weapon and lethal equipment icons.

Energy Mine Major and Minor Augments

Augment Type Effect
Turret
Turret 		Major Augment Instead of a mine, deploy a turret that shoots at the nearest enemy
Scatter
Scatter 		Major Augment The Energy Mine will split into 3 mines that scatter and detonate 1 time each.
Carousel
Carousel 		Major Augment 3 Energy Mines will float around you, detonating once a zombie is within the base trigger radius.
Siren
Siren 		Minor Augment Energy Mine now attracts neaby Normal zombies for 5 seconds.
Frequency Boost
Frequency Boost 		Minor Augment Increase detonation count or duration of Energy Mine.
Extra Charge
Extra Charge 		Minor Augment Increase max charges by 1.
