List of Contents
The Monad Chambers is an optional dungeon that the player can tackle to challenge the limits of their team and builds. It is populated by 4 difficult end game bosses and one super boss that players familiar to the Persona series will immediately recognize.
The utmost preparation is required to defeating every boss that you'll encounter in the said dungeon, recommended to players whose party is level 90 and above and have completed the game.
Defeating the bosses will reward you with certain materials that you can use at the Antique Shop to craft rare and unique gear that can make your team stronger. Consider challenging the bosses if you wish for more ways to get better gear for your team!
Monad Chambers is unlocked a few cutscenes after the completion of Colosseo Purgatorio. Once the player returns to the Abyss of Time to face the final boss, the party will notice another door present within the area.
Boss | Weaknesses and Resistances |
---|---|
Immortal Gigas |
Weak: N/A
Resists: Wind Null: Light Drain: N/A Repel: Strike, Bash, Pierce |
Visceral Maya |
Weak: Fire
Resists: Ice, Wind Null: Dark Drain: Elec Repel: N/A |
A Support + Tank Damage Dealer lineup. The Visceral Maya's roles in this fight is to buff up the Gigas with attack and defense buffs while the Gigas will focus on using physical AoE attacks on your team. Debuffs and multi target attacks are recommended as you'll want to reduce the fight's difficulty by dispatching the Mayas.
Immortal Gigas and Visceral Maya Boss Guide
Boss | Weaknesses and Resistances |
---|---|
Primitive Idol |
Weak: N/A
Resists: Fire, Ice, Wind, Elec Null: N/A Drain: N/A Repel: Light, Dark |
Sky Balance |
Weak: Fire, Ice
Resists: Slash Null: N/A Drain: N/A Repel: Elec, Wind |
Heat Balance |
Weak: Elec, Wind
Resists: Slash Null: N/A Drain: N/A Repel: Fire, Ice |
We highly recommend bringing individual elemental attacks to target the balance's weaknesses. This can give you additional turns during the fight while slowly whittling down the damage dealer's HP.
It is also useless to counter the Balance's elemental attacks as the Primitive Idol will immediately break your team's resistances to the four elemental types at the start of the fight.
Boss | Weaknesses and Resistances |
---|---|
El Dorado Beast |
Weak: N/A
Resists: All Null: N/A Drain: N/A Repel: N/A |
Amorous Snake |
Weak: Wind
Resists: Ice Null: N/A Drain: Fire Repel: Light |
A battle of attrition where the Amorous Snake will be an easy target but it can use a 2000 HP Life Drain on the El Dorado Beast while the Beast is extremely durable and can regenerate 800 HP per turn passively.
Make sure to always deal 2000 damage to the Amorous Snake every turn to make it drain HP from the beast, otherwise, the beast will be able to regenerate all damage it can take but you also must not deal more than that as you can potentially kill the snake.
Killing the Snake will make the fight near impossible to complete due to the El Dorado Beast's durability.
Boss | Weaknesses and Resistances |
---|---|
Brilliant Cyclops |
Weak: N/A
Resists:Strike, Pierce Null: N/A Drain: Ice, Elec, Wind Repel: N/A |
Change Relic |
Weak: Elec
Resists: Fire, Ice Null: Light, Dark Drain: N/A Repel: N/A |
The Change Relic is severely weaker in terms of durability than the Cyclops and both will be fighting you with their elemental attacks. However, you must avoid using AoE attacks and killing the Change Relic as doing so will change the Brilliant Cyclops' pattern.
If you kill the Change Relic, the Brilliant Cyclops will start using Concentrate then Megidolaon every turn which can most of your party members in one turn, making the fight more difficult. However, if you can survive, it can be easier to deal with one boss instead of two.
Joker is Episode Aigis' super boss and it is arguably the most difficult boss in the entire game, with the base game included. As other Persona protagonists, he's capable of using multiple Personas in combat which will change his resistances while also being capable of dishing out huge amounts of damage per turn.
How To Unlock Joker Boss Fight
If you want to approach the Monad Chamber, be sure that your party is ready for post game. Reaching Level 99 is the bare minimum if you wish to complete these stages as these enemies will still defeat an unprepared late game team.
The Reaper is a great source of experience points as defeating it while getting an EXP card will net you half a million points worth of experience points in one fight. He is also easy to defeat with the right strategy or Theurgy (Armageddon) and can be a great way to bump up your teammate's levels or even your own Personas!
Getting all of your Theurgies and all possible Personas you can use is crucial for the Monad Chamber. These enemies have HP pools in the tens of thousands while having the potential to defeat your whole party in one turn. Being able to choose among your whole Persona compendium is recommended to be able to create the best possible team you can make.
