How to Start Ryoji's Social Link

Only Available for the Female Protagonist in P3P

Ryoji's Social Link is only available through the Female Protagonist's route found in Persona 3 Portable, which is not available for Persona 3 Reload.

Can You Romance Ryoji?

You Cannot Romance Ryoji

While Ryoji is flirty, he is not available for romance. He is only romanceable through the Female Protagonist's route, which is not available for Persona 3 Reload.

During the Female Protagonist's route, he states that he would still love the protagonist regardless if they were a boy or girl, so there is hope for release!

Should You Let Ryoji Live?

Upon reaching December 31, Ryoji will urge S.E.E.S. to decide on whether to kill or spare him as he believes his death will end the group's suffering. Choosing either one will completely determine the end of the game, so choose wisely!

How to Get the True End

Letting Him Live

If you let Ryoji live, he will first show you his true form, that of Death. You will have to decide again, and if you would still spare him, you will proceed with the True Ending route.

Ryoji, before disappearing, will provide S.E.E.S. with valuable information regarding a confrontation atop Tartarus. On January 31, he takes the form of Nyx Avatar at the final floor of Tartarus, serving as the game's final boss.

Killing Him

If you do decide to kill Ryoji, your character will presumably summon a Persona to kill Ryoji. The screen will then cut to black and proceed to show a peaceful yet melancholic end to the game. Note that this is considered as the bad ending, and players will be required to load their game and choose to let Ryoji live should they want to progress the story and reach the true ending.
