Character Overview

A third-year at Gekkoukan High School and one of the founding members of SEES. He’s the captain of the boxing team and excels in academics as well, earning him a lot of fans around school. He’s got an effortlessly cool and stoic personality, but can be stubborn and even a bit naïve at times.

Akihiko's Role in Combat

In battle, he uses his skills as a boxer to deliver a beatdown with his fists. His unique Persona, Polydeuces, specializes in physical and electrical skills.

Emperor - Polydeuces

Akihiko's Persona is Polydeuces of the Emperor Arcana, one of the Gemini twins and sometimes known as Pollux. Polydeuces has a strong affinity to Electricity and physical attacks.

Evolution - Caesar

After maxing out Akihiko's Social Link, he undergoes a Second Awakening in which his Persona transforms into a more powerful form that is able to learn more powerful abilities.

Akihiko's final Persona is Caesar, which could an allusion to the name passed down to the different people that ruled the Roman Empire.

Akihiko Theurgies
Lightning Spike	• Deals severe Electric damage to all foes, ignoring resistances.
Electric Onslaught	• Severe Electric damage to 1 foe, ignoring resistances. High chance of Shock.

Theurgies are powerful skills unique to each party member and can turn the tides of battle heavily in your favor. A party member may learn more than one Theurgy skill.

Lightning Spike

Akihiko calls upon his Persona, dealing devastating Electric DMG to all enemies and ignoring whatever resistances they may have against it. Has a chance to Shock enemies, making them lose a turn or two.

Electric Onslaught

Akihiko strikes a singular enemy and deals extreme Electric DMG to them, ignoring all their defenses and can highly likely leave them Shocked, causing them to lose turns!

Buff Boost	Increases the effects of buffs on self.
Buff Amp	Greatly increases the effects of buffs on self.

Akihiko's Characteristics bolster the buffs bestowed upon him, leading to even more increased stats and better efficiency in combat. This plays extremely well with his Theurgy mechanic, in which his gauge fills up everytime he is given buffs.

Characteristic: Buff Boost

Akihiko's stat buffs will have a greater effect on him. Should his ATK be increased, he will deal even more DMG than usual!

Characteristic Evolution: Buff Amp

Any buff bestowed on Akihiko will have significantly greater effect on him, further increasing his stats while they are active.

How to Start Akihiko's Social Link

Only Available for the Female Protagonist in P3P

You can only start Akihiko's Social Link if you chose the female protagonist in Persona 3 Portable. If you chose the male protagonist, the Emperor Social Link will be Hidetoshi of the Student Government instead.

Since the male Protagonist is the sole choice in Persona 3 Reload, Akihiko is not available for a Social Link. However, your friendship will grow stronger along with his will and determination as the story progresses!

Can You Romance Akihiko?

Only Available for the Female Protagonist in P3P

Akihiko is not romanceable in Persona 3 Reload. He is, however, available as a romanceable option for the female protagonist in Persona 3 Portable.
