Use Twilight Fragments

Locked Chests can be opened using Twilight Fragments! If you have it in your inventory, it will automatically be used up when you try to open a locked chest. Note that some chests may require more than 1 Twilight Fragment.

How to Farm Twilight Fragments

Chests Drop Type Per Fragment Costs

The items inside Locked Chests will vary depending on its fragment cost, with a higher cost having better item drops. With that, it is suggested to not spend fragments on 1 cost chests early in the game so that you can open the higher cost chests instead.

Where to Find Locked Chests

On Floors with Guardians

There are Locked Chests on the floors with guardians, typically the floor at the end of every Tartarus block. Make sure to open them since these chests would have unique weapons or armor inside.

You can also find Locked Chests spawn randomly on the floors of Tartarus. With that, it is recommended for you to fully explore each floor so that you do not miss any potential chests there.

Chests with Rare Items, Weapons, and Armor

Locked Chests can contain rare items, weapons, and armor. Particularly, locked chests on regular floor contain items, while locked chests on Boss floors have weapons or armor. This is one of the few ways you can get equipment, so it is best to open all the locked chests you can find!
