HP: 20'000

Item | Effect | Explanation |
---|---|---|
Lucifer's Blade | All stats+7 / +Magic Ability | Since you are running on a timer during Elizabeth's Boss Fight, Lucifer's Blade will help you dish out more damage and push Orpheus Telos' stats |
Armor of Light | +Reduce Magic DMG (High) | Elizabeth will primarily cycle between Magic Attacks, so Armor of Light is needed to mitigate some of the damage. Along with Regenerate 3, you would not need to use healing items during the fight. |
Shoes of Bane | +Null Dark Instakill | During specific points in the fight, Elizabeth will summon Alice and use Die for Me!. Since the skill does not deal damage, blocking it will not lead to an instakill. Shoes of Bane entirely negate the RNG of the instakills. |
Incense Box | +Insta-Heal | The moment Elizabeth summons Nebiros and inflicts any ailment on you the fight is already over. Incense Box will entirely remove this factor out of the fight, making runs more consistent and predictable. |
Item | Effect | Explanation |
---|---|---|
Excalibur | +100 SP | Having Excalibur along with Spell Master will essentially remove all SP problems during the fight. |
Eternal Plate | +Reduce Physical DMG (High) | Apart from magical damage, Elizabeth has hard-hitting Physical attacks that can possibly critically hit, dealing even more damage than magic attacks. Eternal Plate |
Mysterious Geta | +3 to all Stats | Mysterious Geta will increase your overall stats. As an alternative to Shoes of Bane, Homunculus is a great option while Mysterious Geta boosts your damage |
Book of Enoch | +Magic Evasion (High) | If you are more of a risk-taker, having this along with Heat Riser buffs will have you dancing around the majority of Elizabeth's elemental spells! |
Persona | Best Skills | Explanation |
---|---|---|
Orpheus Telos |
・Morning Star ・Regenerate 3 ・Invigorate 3 ・Spell Master ・Heat Riser ・Concentrate ・Almighty Boost ・Debilitate |
Orpheus Telos, which was purposely designed for the Elizabeth fight, will act as your main Persona of choice simply because of his resistance to all attacks. |
Chi You |
・Auto-Tarukaja ・Auto-Rakukaja ・Auto-Sukukaja ・Enduring Soul ・Debilitate |
Chi You will serve as both your primer and Enduring Soul fodder to Elizabeth's 2nd Phase. Chi You is specifically chosen since he does not have any Null, Repel, or Drain on any elemental and physical attacks. |
Helel |
・Endure ・Multi-Target Boost ・Almighty Boost |
When Elizabeth reaches 10,001-10,500 Health, Helel will act as your finisher as you will need to tank the guaranteed Megidolaon with Endure. |
For the remainder of the Elizabeth fight, there are rules you must follow to proceed through the fight:
Breaking even one of the rules stated above will lead to Elizabeth using her infamous move, the 9999 damage Megidolaon that results in an instant loss. To avoid this, it is essential to have Personas that only resist a variety of attacks.
During the fight, there are three transitional periods where Elizabeth is guaranteed to use her instakill Megidolaons, prompting you to react accordingly:
Proper calculation, Persona sequencing, and timing are required to avoid these instakills.
Along with Elizabeth's fight patterns, the following strategies are essential in beating Elizabeth's boss fight.
Elizabeth Phases |
---|
|
Elizabeth will summon a Persona on that specific turn to attack two times and then change Persona on the next turn. Elizabeth has 8 Personas at her disposal and will start looping back to the first Persona after the eighth Persona. Knowing her moveset is critical to switching to the proper Persona.
Sequence | Possible Attacks |
---|---|
1. Surt | ① Inferno ② Brave Blade ③ Tarukaja ④ Slash Attack |
2. Jack Frost | ① Diamond Dust ② Concentrate ③ Rakukaja ④ Rakunda |
3. Thor | ① Thunder Reign ② God’s Hand ③ Tarunda ④ Strike Attack |
4. Cu Chulainn | ① Panta Rhei ② Charge ③ Primal Force ④ Sukukaja |
5. Metatron | ① Sukukaja ② Sukunda ③ Kougaon ④ Divine Judgement |
6. Alice | ① Die for Me! ② Eigaon |
7. Nebiros | ① Rakunda ② Single Target Ailment |
8. Masakado | ① Concentrate ② Megidolaon |
Before starting the fight, equip Chi You to enable the auto buffs and save a turn. Also, it is recommended to get a Cups Card that more than doubles your magic attack from a shuffle time before starting to have a head-start in damage.
Until Elizabeth's HP reaches 13,001 - 14,000 HP, cycle between Concentrate, Heat Riser, then Morning Star for consistent damage. Mix in Concentrated Trickery if available!
After Elizabeth uses Metatron, you are free to Debilitate Elizabeth as it takes time for her to access her stat buffs/debuffs. While Elizabeth's stats are lowered, it is recommended to use Trickery for maximum damage.
If you can exactly put Elizabeth at 13,500 HP, you can skip Phase 2's Instakill Megidolaon to Phase 3. To achieve this deal 2500-3000 damage with a Heat Riser+Concentrate enhanced Trickery on a debilitated Elizabeth then keep hitting her with a Morning Star during Phase 2.
The second phase acts as a quick damage check as Elizabeth will use Megidolaon if you do not reduce her health down to 10,000 after three turns. She will be using Thor for four turns straight after the guaranteed Megidolaon; often times using Tarunda to hinder your chances!
Sequence | Possible Attacks |
---|---|
Thor (Three Turns) | ① Thunder Reign ② God’s Hand ③ Tarunda ④ Strike Attack |
To avoid dying to the first scripted Megidolaon, switch to Chi You and debilitate Elizabeth after her dialogue. Using Enduring Soul here lets you avoid healing afterward and wasting a turn for Phase 2.
To reach Phase 3, you must reach the HP threshold of 9999 HP during 3 turns to avoid the 2nd guaranteed Megidolaon. As Elizabeth's debilitated, just spam Morning Stars!
As soon as you reduce Elizabeth's health down to 10,000, she will use Heat Riser and Diarahan to heal herself up to full. Phase 3 has Elizabeth pull out all the stops as she will begin using two Personas every turn, covering more bases.
Sequence | Possible Attacks | |
---|---|---|
1. Surt and Jack Frost | ① Inferno ② Tarunda ③ Tarukaja |
① Diamond Dust ② Rakukaja ③ Rakunda |
2. Thor and Cu Chulainn | ① Thunder Reign ② God's Hand |
① Panta Rhei ② Primal Force ③ Sukukaja |
3. Metatron and Alice | ① Sukunda ② Kougaon ③ Divine Judgement |
① Die for Me! ② Eigaon |
4. Nebiros and Thor | ① Single Ailment | ① God's Hand ② Heat Riser |
5. Jack Frost and Thor | ① Diamond Dust ③ Rakukaja ④ Rakunda |
① Thunder Reign ② Tarunda |
6. Alice and Surt | ① Die for Me! ② Eigaon |
① Tarukaja ② Brave Blade |
7. Cu Chulainn and Metatron | ① Panta Rhei ② Primal Force ③ Sukukaja |
① Sukunda ② Kougaon ③ Divine Judgement |
8. Alice and Masakado | ① Die for Me! | ① Megidolaon |
Elizabeth will randomly switch Persona Cycles back to Surt during this phase so keep your wits about you and avoid suddenly swapping into a Persona you that Blocks, Repels, or Drains his attacks!
When you reach this stage, you just have to repeat the damage cycle of Phase 1 until she reaches around 10,500 HP. You can approximately use 2 Trickeries, after which save the last Theurgy for later!
As soon as Elizabeth reaches 10,500 HP, use Helel's Morning Star to bring her down to 9999 HP. This will prompt her last Megidolaon and Helel's Endure will withstand the attack. For safety reasons, you can take a turn to buff up using Orpheus Telos when Alice or Metatron will be summoned next turn.
After her Megidolaon, use your saved-up Theurgy to cast Armaggedon to finish the fight. Congratulations on beating the hardest boss of Persona 3 Reload!
Elizabeth's boss fight is entirely based on playing around her health thresholds, forcing you to keep track of the damage you are dealing with in order to not accidentally pass a threshold without preparation.
While unconventional, having a calculator during the fight will massively guide your decision-making and damage calculation.
To quicken Fuuka's Theurgy, scan Elizabeth whenever she switches out a Persona. Fuuka's theurgy can be a lifesaver in the majority of the fight.
Since the Endure skills have priority over Homunculus, it is recommended to swap Personas with these skills if you do not have Shoes of Bane equipped. Doing so will avoid the possibility of consuming Endure during unwanted moments.

This boss guide mentions that Elizabeth will randomly reset her moveset cycle during phase 3. I believe I have discovered that it is indeed not random, but occurs every other cycle. Every other turn cycle, she skips Alice and Masakado (as seen in the "Phase 3" section of the article) and returns to the Surt/Jack Frost moveset. Apologies if this is confusing, but the guide makes the fight seem more randomized and confusing than it actually is.

idk if you're still stuck on the fight, but you cannot have enduring soul multiple times. You have one "endure" and one "enduring soul" to use up, then she will kill you if you happen to endure/enduring soul again
