Purchasing new equipment and items in Persona 3 Reload (P3R) requires a lot of money, and you can get it in various ways. Learn the best and fastest ways to farm money, routines for farming, and how to do them in this guide!

Much like farming for EXP, the preparation for your money farming should start before you proceed to Tartarus. Go to Club Escapade and pay the Fortune Teller a visit. Invest in a Rarity Fortune to increase the odds of Rare Shadows appearing in Tartarus.
Defeating these Rare Shadows will reward you with a considerable amount of yen, making for easy and fast money! It will also give you loads of EXP along the way!
While it may seem like a good idea to stop early due to HP and SP shortage, it's actually recommended that you stay for as long as you need to and farm as much in one run.
Since the Fatigue System has been removed and no party member will ever get Tired or Sick anymore, players should take advantage of it and stay in Tartarus for as long as needed.
SP is a scarce resource during your runs in Tartarus because there is no natural way to restore these unlike HP with the Cup card in shuffle time. Getting skills like SP drain to be able to get SP from enemies or a supply of SP restoring items to allow you to cast more skills to hit enemy weakpoints or use restorative skills is crucial.
Fusing personas that can easily dispatch groups of enemies or eliminate elites are highly recommended if you want to farm for a long time inside Tartarus. Being able to dispatch enemies quickly will, in turn, reduce the amount of damage you take per fight and the amount of time you spend in the tower. We also highly recommend getting physical damage-focused personas like Ose or Rakshasa as these Personas will not only consume HP instead of SP but they can also increase your physical attacks' damage to dispatch enemies more efficiently!
When using battles as a mode of earning money, then you must always choose Coin cards every Shuffle Time after each battle! Coin cards will look like pale yellow circles, and the higher in Tartarus you go, the more yen these cards will yield.
You may start at the lower blocks such as Thebel and Arqa, then move your way up to the middle and upper floors once you are strong enough. Be sure to end all battles with All-Out Attacks to guarantee Shuffle Times!
As you upgrade your arsenal, your previous equipment and random items picked up from breaking objects in Tartarus might clutter your inventory. The easiest and most beneficial solution: sell them!
Visit any local shop like the Weapons Shop in Paulownia Mall and sell all your unused equipment and valuables.. Not only will you earn money to spend, but you will also be able to declutter your inventory!
Much like in real life, earning money comes with work. As a student at Gekoukkan High, however, you are only allowed to work part-time jobs open to you during certain days of the week.
Some of these jobs are open simultaneously in one day, and you can choose which job to undertake. However, it is recommended that you spend whatever daylight you have left in a day improving your Social Links and only work on Social Stats in the Evening.
It goes without saying that money enables you to purchase anything to your heart's desire. The Weapons Shop will regularly upgrade its inventory and you will need to stock up on items for your visits to Tartarus, so having money on hand is imperative.
Summoning Personas directly from the Compendium, may it be for usage in Tartarus or for Fusions, will cost you money. The higher the level of the Persona you wish to summon, the more expensive they will be.
It's always a good option to have some yen on hand for this very purpose, especially for when you're finally in the stages of the game where you can finally fuse Ultimate Personas!
