Mitsuru has no weaknesses, while nulling Ice. She has a lot of Magic and has the chance to freeze Aigis or Metis during the battle. Bring her down quickly with Electric to shock and potentially down her.
The following tips can help you beat Yukari and Mitsuru in battle.
Saturnus is naturally weak to Ice, but if fused using Abaddon, it can learn Drain Ice, effectively removing its only weakness. It also nullifies Wind skills, allowing you to withstand any of Yukari's offenses when fielded.
With Concentrate, Saturnus can use Maragidyne to deal heavy damage to both enemies at once or focus in with Inferno. You can also level it up to 77 to learn Fire Amp for boosted damage.
If you prefer to bring a higher-level persona, either Metatron or Beelzebub are your second-best bet. They can help you resist Ice and Wind attacks, while also having access to devastating spells that can hit both Yukari and Mitsuru.
Yukari can use Diarahan in this fight, allowing her to heal any teammate back to full health. She can also use Ice Break to nullify any ice resistance of the personas you're carrying. For these reasons, it's best to focus on Yukari first to prevent her team from healing and to stop Mitsuru from dealing heavy to severe damage to your equipped persona.
Focusing on Mitsuru is a viable strategy as well. She can become a huge threat to your team with concentrated Megidolaon, Mabufudyne, and later Diamond Dust. Additionally, getting Yukari to lower health increases the chances of her using Tranquility, which buffs Mitsuru's magic even more.
Make sure not to get their health low at the same time as Mitsuru can follow up Yukari's Theurgy with her own Thurgy, Blade of Execution. This can be very nasty and can take you down in one hit.
Keep in mind that whoever is left alone in the fight will resort to severe elemental attacks. If you leave Mitsuru for last, she will use Diamond Dust. If it's Yukari, she will spam Panta Rhei.
Using Makarakarn or Magic Mirror will lock both Mitsuru and Yukari into using Megidolaon. Since this is an Almighty skill, there's no way to protect yourself from it, and it will hit your team hard twice in one turn. They can amp the damage further if you trigger Yukari's Tranquility Theurgy or if Mitsuru uses Concentrate before attacking.
Mitsuru can also inflict status ailments like Confuse with Neuro Slash or Tentarafoo. The only way to heal from this condition is by using items like Amrita Gem. No need to worry about Metis, as she can instantly heal herself with Insta-Heal.
Character | Best Skills |
---|---|
Aigis (MC) |
・Thunder Reign ・Salvation ・Akasha Arts ・Inferno ・Debilitate |
・You will mostly be playing a healer role in this fight to keep Metis' HP up. Mediarahan is the best course to keep both your HPs topped up. Salvation is still a good choice to keep HP up while also removing any pesky status conditions. ・Having Debilitate or Marakunda to use would also be beneficial to increase your damage output. ・You can weave in your own Akasha Arts or Severe-tier Magic attacks, like Thunder Reign. Prioritize these moves since it can result in a critical hit or a Shocked state. |
|
Metis |
・Matarukaja ・Akasha Arts ・Charge ・Insta-Heal |
・Metis will be dealing most of the damage here with Akasha Arts. Using moves like Rebellion can increase Metis' chance of hitting a critical hit. ・Metis can also regularly cast Matarukaja to make sure both you and her are outputting as much damage as possible, combined with your Debilitate or any debuff you inflict. ・Weaving in a Charge turn for Metis can also be beneficial for dealing massive amounts of damage but it is not a priority. |
Persona | Best Skills |
---|---|
Saturnus |
・Fire Amp ・Drain Ice ・Inferno |
・Amazing Magic attacker that can be fused from the Abaddon that you likely used in the Junpei and Koromaru fight. ・If you want Electricity Skills, you can get Shock Boost by fusing Thunderbird with Yurlungur to get Thor and fuse that to Odin with Thunder Reign to get the best chance of inflicting Shock. Abaddon naturally gets Ailment Boost and Drain Ice so no need to worry about that. ・If you want to focus on Fire skills though, Abaddon and Cybele is your best choice. Ideally, you can fuse Skadi and Trumpeter so you can get Debilitate on Cybele to pass onto Saturnus. |
|
Beelzebub |
・Thunder Reign ・Ailment Boost ・Shock Boost ・Drain Ice ・Drain Wind |
・Already nulls Wind and it can also get Drain Ice from Abaddon along with keep your Electricity build from it. ・Lilith can also give you Drain Wind making this boss fight a joke. |
|
Metatron |
・Salvation ・Megidolaon ・Drain Ice ・Heat Riser ・Angelic Grace |
・Already resists Ice and Repels Wind and can be used without much fusion for certain Skills. ・Already Repels Wind and it can also get Drain Ice from Abaddon if you fuse it with Bishamonten to get Michael. ・From the four Archangels you can also get Heat Riser from Raphael or Michael and Angelic Grace from Uriel. |
