How to Start the Bunkichi and Mitsuko (Hierophant) Social Link

Present the Elderly Couple a Persimmon Leaf

Visit the Bookworms Used Book Store in the Iwatodai Strip Mall. You will meet an elderly couple named Bunkichi and Mitsuko running the store. Talk to them repeatedly until they mention the Persimmon Tree at the back of Gekkoukan High.

After this prompt arises, go to the back of Gekkoukan High to find the Persimmon Tree and get a leaf. Return to Bunkichi and Mitsuko, talk to them, and you will get a prompt to show the Persimmon Leaf to them. Doing so unlocks the Hierophant Social Link.

Bunkichi Gets Trapped in Tartarus on 9/12

Another Tartarus related events are people getting caught inside Tartarus. Bunkichi is the first social link character that can get trapped inside Tartarus. While Bunkichi is trapped, you will not be able to meet him nor his wife in their Bookstore and failing to save Bunkichi will lock the player out of the social links available for the Hierophant Arcana.
