The easiest and most effective way of getting Rare Shadows to reveal themselves more often is by paying the Fortune Teller at Club Escapade and investing in a Rarity Fortune reading.
Doing so will dramatically increase the odds of Rare Shadows appearing on your next expedition to Tartarus.
One strange yet fortunate phenomenon is a floor anomaly in which a floor in Tartarus almost exclusively spawns Rare Shadows! Should Fuuka inform you of this anomaly, don't think twice and seize the opportunity!
This anomaly is just as rare as the Rare Shadows themselves, so should you be so fortunate to encounter it, do not bar any holds!
Tartarus Exploration Guide and Tips
Compared to the spoils of ordinary battles, defeating Rare Shadows will yield significantly more EXP and yen! It is for this reason that encountering them is very opportune, for it will lead to faster leveling and more money to spend!
Much like its smaller Rare Shadow counterparts, Greedy Shadows also provide greater yen and HP than usual, but to an even bigger extent!
