The key to making the most of Persona 3 Reload (P3R) is quickly leveling up for easy exploration and battle. Learn the best ways to level up quickly and how it can affect your gameplay in this guide!
List of Contents
Before we get to the actual farming of EXP, we must first make the necessary preparations to maximize every opportunity we're about to get. Pay a visit to the Fortune Teller at Club Escapade and invest in a reading.
This will make the Shadows on your next visit to Tartarus stronger and will make Rare Shadows appear more frequently. These monsters will yield greater EXP and more yen, hitting two birds with one stone!
While returning to Tartarus on a later date may be tempting to refresh your party by recovering all their HP and SP, it's much more recommended to farm as much as you can in a single run.
Going to Tartarus consumes time that is otherwise best spent on improving your Social Stats or Social Links, so try to maximize the benefits you can gain from a single run as much as possible.
It is imperative that you choose Wand cards during each Shuffle Time to increase the EXP you gain after every battle. Wand cards resemble tree branches, and starting at blocks like Arqa will have them grant you more EXP.
Be sure to end battles with All-Out Attacks to guarantee Shuffle Times!
A new feature in Persona 3 Reload is the clocks that appear at random. Whenever you use Twilight Fragments, there will be a chance that a door will appear with a Great Clock behind it.
Using these Great Clocks will have you select two specific party members whose level is lower than that of yours. After a battle, the two chosen allies will level up to match the main character's level making it a great catch-up mechanic.
Being way ahead of your opponents will turn the tides heavily in your favor. With your level at a considerable amount, taking on bosses will become a cinch, allowing you to progress the story faster and easier.
Additionally, should any Shadow ever get an idea, you can plow through them with ease no matter how powerful they might be. You might even be able to take on Monad Rooms and the threats that lie within them!
Certain Personas won't be available to fuse until you reach a pre-requisite level. Leveling up will not only increase your battle prowess but will also unlock more Personas for you to fuse!
