The Reaper unlocks at the 62nd Floor and appears when you've spent too long on your current floor in Persona 3 Reload (P3R). Read on to learn how to summon the Reaper and what the Reaper is.
List of Contents
In Persona 3 Reload, the Reaper will only start appearing upon reaching the 62nd floor. Before this floor, the Reaper will not appear no matter how long you stay on a floor. Waiting for long durations on the earlier floors without triggering the reaper's prompt will not summon the Reaper.
In order to make the Reaper appear, you must stay on a single floor for an extended amount of time. Once you've spent enough time on that floor, the Reaper will then appear and chase you down until you ascend to the next floor.
The Reaper is a high-level enemy that has extremely powerful attacks and is very difficult to take down. The Reaper chases you down and prevents you from spending too much time on your current floor.
This is a game feature that urges the player to progress through Tartarus at a consistent pace and discourages farming and being complacent in that area.
