Priestess Boss Guide: Weakness and Resistances

Priestess Recommended Party Setup

Protagonist	・Tarunda ・Rakunda	The Protagonist can act as your primary debuffer to keep enemy damage down, as well as to provide support DPS.
Yukari	・Garu ・Dia ・Media	Yukari is your primary healer and should always keep your party above half HP. She can also attack if your party is fully healed.
Junpei	・Agi ・Power Slash	Junpei is your main damage dealer and should almost always be performing offensive skills. Use Agi every now and then so Power Slash doesn't drain too much HP.

Best Personas to Use

Orpheus is a Great All-Rounder

Orpheus can heal with Dia, and can damage the summoned Shadows with Agi, as Fire is their weakness. Moreover, Orpheus can debuff Priestess using Tarunda, making Orpheus a great choice for this battle.

Use Personas with Ice Resistance

Valkyrie is a great choice, as it resists Ice damage, and has Power Slash and Rakunda. Jack Frost is also good, since it negates ice damage and can also deal damage with Zio. However, do not use Jack Frost's Bufu skill, as Priestess repels Ice damage back at you.

The following tips can help you beat Priestess in battle.

1. Avoid Using Ice Skills
2. Avoid Personas with Ice Weakness
3. Use Yukari to Heal
4. Use Debuffs
5. Prioritize the Summoned Shadows

Avoid Using Ice Skills

Priestess repels ice attacks, so avoid using Bufu skills. Agi and Zio, as well as physical skills will work fine against this boss.

Avoid Personas with Ice Weakness

Priestess casts a powerful Ice Storm skill that deals ice damage to your whole party. Avoid Personas that have an ice weakness.

Use Yukari to Heal

Yukari acts as your healer, and the Dia skill is the key to staying alive throughout this battle. Always keep an eye on your HP and use Dia whenever a party member is at half HP.

Use Debuffs

Orpheus learns Tarunda at level 6 and is a great skill to decrease Priestess' attack for 3 turns, making her do less damage, thus giving you a lot more survivability.

On the other hand, Valkyrie can learn Rakunda, which decreases an enemy's defense for 3 turns, allowing your attacks to do more damage to Priestess.

Prioritize the Summoned Shadows

When Priestess is close to being defeated, she will summon a couple Shadow enemies to do additional damage to you. If you're playing on harder difficulties, use Fire skills like Agi to take them out as soon as possible.

However, on easier difficulties, you can simply keep on attacking Priestess until she is defeated, to end the battle.
