Death Castle is weak to Ice, but it also resists Slash, nullifies Pierce, and repels Dark. Bring along Mitsuru or Metis with you so that they can knock it down with their Ice Skills.

How to Beat Death Castle

Target Death Castle's Ice Weakness

Death Castle has a very obvious Ice weakness, so you'll want to bring along Mitsuru or Metis to knock it down with their Ice Skills.

Mitsuru will deal the most damage to this boss thanks to her Concentrated Ice Skills and Theurgy, but she's also weak to Fire attacks from the Death Castle. Take this into consideration first before bringing her to the fight.

Prepare Mitsuru's Theurgy Before the Battle

If you plan on using Mitsuru, make sure to max her Theurgy gauge before starting the battle. This way, you can unleash a powerful Blizzard Edge before Mitsuru can get hit by a Fire attack.

Use Makarakarn to Reflect Agi Skills

Death Castle only uses Agi skills on your party, and it isn't immune to Fire itself. Cast Makarakarn on your key party members, like Mitsuru, to keep them safe while also reflecting the Death Castle's attacks back at them.
