Persona 3 Reload - How to Give Direct Commands to Allies

Giving direct commands to allies in Persona 3 Reload (P3R) can be done by going to the tactics menu during battle. Read on to learn how to give direct commands, how to give an order to allies, and what all orders do!

You can give direct commands to allies by pressing up on the D-Pad of your controller to open the tactics menu. Note that you must do this during the protagonist's turn so that you can give orders and change how they behave.

Next, you will want to give an order to all allies. This can be done by selecting the Order tab and then choosing All Members. Once here, you give everyone direct commands so that you can control everyone manually.

Act Freely Let AI Control Your Allies
Full Assault Only Use Attack/Damage Skills
Conserve SP Only Use Standard Attacks or Items
Heal/Support Only Use Buff/Debuff/Healing Skills or Items

The list above shows you all the orders you can give to your allies and what each one does. While it is recommended to give direct command to allies most of the time, you can also take advantage of these other orders to lessen the amount of choices you have to make during battle.
