Emperor Beetle is weak to Fire but nullifies Slash and Strike. Bring Junpei or Koromaru with you so that you can take it down quickly!

Unfortunately, Adamant Beetle has no weaknesses. It's recommended to use AoE Fire Skills so that you can also target the Emepror Beetle's weakness at the same time.

How to Beat Emperor and Adamant Beetle

Bring Dekaja to Remove Buffs

Adamant Beetle Buffing
The two Beetles can buff each other, making this fight a lot more annoying than it needs to be. Make sure to bring either Ken or a Persona that knows Dekaja to dispel any buffs they cast.

Use AoE Fire Attacks

Emperor Beetle Weaknesses
Ideally, you want to use AoE Fire Skills this fight so that you can hit the Emperor Beetle's Fire weakness while simultaneously dealing neutral damage to the lower HP Adamant Beetle.

Emperor Beetle can be found inside a Monad Door in Ptolomea. It's recommended to always take the door on the right so that this boss has a 3 out of 4 chance of spawning.
