Primitive Idol Weaknesses and Resistances

Primitive Idol Has No Weaknesses

Unfortunately, the Primitive Idol has no weaknesses. However, you can still use Physical Skills from characters like Junpei, Akihiko, and Metis to deal good neutral damage into it.

Sky Balance is Weak to Fire and Ice

Sky Balance is weak to Fire and Ice, but it also resists Slash and repels Electric and Wind. Bring characters that have strong single-target Fire or Ice Skills, like Mitsuru, to deal with this enemy.

Heat Balance is the opposite of Sky Balance in that it's weak to Electric and Wind but it repels Fire and Ice. Again, use a strong single-target Electric or Wind user, like Yukari, for this boss.

How to Beat Primitive Idol

The following tips can help you beat Primitive Idol in battle.

• Focus on Damage Instead of Survivability
• Get Team Wide Defense Buffs
• Hit the Two Balances' Weaknesses
• Don't Use Armageddon

Focus on Damage Instead of Survivability

The Primitive Idol will keep on using Break Skills to negate your party's immunities, so don't approach the fight with the strategy of nullifying or countering their elemental attacks.

Get Team Wide Defense Buffs

AoE Defensive Buffs like Marakukaja and Masukukaja will be extremely helpful as you won't be able to block their elemental attacks using your Persona's immunities.

Hit the Two Balances' Weaknesses

Sky Balance is weak to both Ice and Fire while Heat Balance is weak to Wind and Electric. Use single-target attacks against them to get extra turns and chip damage during the fight.

Create a Shift Chain Ending With Metis

To maximize your damage output, you'll want to create a Shift Chain that ends with Aigis shifting to Metis so that she can send a +40% boosted attack at the Primitive Idol.

As an example, use Yukari to knock down Heat Balance, then Shift to Aigis who will knock down Sky Balance, then Shift to Metis who will use a Charged Brave Blade on the Primitive Idol, assuming that she used Charge during her turn.

Don't Use Armageddon

Whatever you do, don't use Armageddon during this fight. The three bosses will stay alive at 1 HP and the Primitive Idol will use Mediarahan to heal them all back to full HP.

・Sends powerful Shift-boosted attacks into the Primitive Idol. ・Use Charge during her regular turns in preparation for a Shift from Aigis. ・Also has Bufudyne and Garudyne if the other party members can't start a Shift Chain.
Mitsuru	・Ice Boost ・Diamond Dust
・Priority is to knock down the Sky Balance so she can start a Shift Chain. ・If the Heat Balance is already knocked down, let Aigis knock down the Sky Balance so she can Shift to Metis. ・Use Blade of Execution on the Primitive Idol when she doesn't need to knock down the Sky Balance.
