Personas created from fusion of different Personas can inherit skills in Persona 3 Reload (P3R). Learn more about skill inheritance, as well as how and where to inherit skills.

Skill inheritance is much more convenient in Persona 3 Reload, as it now allows you to choose which skills you want the Persona to inherit when fusing Personas as opposed to being randomized in the original versions of the game.
There are some skills that cannot be inherited through fusion of Personas as the element of that skill might not be compatible to the created Persona.
For example, Jack Frost, an ice-type Persona, cannot inherit fire skills.
Skill inheritance can happen if you fuse two to three Personas to create a new one. The new Persona can inherit most skills that the parent Personas have but not everything can be inherited.
Skills that the created Persona does not normally learn when leveling up can also be inherited if the parent Persona has it, although there are exceptions to this.
Fusion Guide: How Does Normal and Triangle Fusion Work
There are some Personas who have skills that are exclusive to them and thus, cannot be passed down to the child Persona if you use them during fusion.
For example, Alice has the skill Die for Me! exclusive to her and cannot be passed down.
Although you can't inherit incompatible skills normally, skills learned through skill cards ignore Persona compatibility which means that a fire Persona can learn an ice skill and vice versa through this method.
Elizabeth will sometimes request players to fuse certain Personas with specific skills. Look out for Personas that you can fuse that can result to Elizabeth's Request until you reach one of the required Personas you need to fuse for her main request.
It is recommended to have a Persona focus on specific skills that will complement their stats. For example, if the resulting Persona through fusion has high strength, you should focus on inheriting physical skills and stat buffing skills to optimize that Persona.
You can also focus more on inheriting buff skills so you can switch to that Persona if you or your party need buffs.
To do skill inheritance, you can do Persona Fusions at the Velvet Room, which takes place in an elevator. You can find the blue doors to enter it at the following locations:
