This is a guide to the New Game Plus feature of Persona 3 Reload. Read on to learn about the Persona 3 Reload's New Game Plus, everything that you can carry over to your new file, and if the Episode Aigis DLC has New Game Plus!
List of Contents
New Game Plus is a common feature that players can use after completing a game and carrying over some progress from their initial file to the next playthrough. This is the same in Persona 3 Reload which allows players to carry over multiple things that they have obtained or completed from their initial run.
When starting a New Game Plus, be warned that there will be no additional content that players can access only from a new game plus file save for a few dialogue choices that requires a high social stat level in the early stages of the game.
Before proceeding to all the stuff that players can port from their old file to a new file, be warned that nothing carries over into a Merciless difficulty file. Take note of this so if you wish to enjoy a new game plus run with overpowered characaters, consider playing on a lower difficulty setting.
Difficulty Differences and Best Difficulty Settings
Items | The first and most common thing that you can carry over are items that you have obtained from your previous playthrough. This includes key items, heart items, and even Twilight fragments you've picked up or farmed in Tartarus! |
---|---|
Gear | All weapons, armor, accessories, and costumes you have obtained will all carry over to your new file. |
Stats and Levels | Your main character's levels as well as your party members will retain their current levels when starting a new file. Additionally, any incense you have used to boost stats will also be retained. Lastly, your social stats are also retained which allows you to focus on different parts of the game instead of leveling your social stat points for social links. |
Battle Info | Any enemies that you have analyzed will have their weaknesses and resistances automatically displayed when encountering them again. |
Personas and Compendium | Lastly, every Persona that you have unlocked and registered in the Compendium will all be unlocked as soon as you enter the Velvet Room once again and unlock the fusion mechanic. This allows you to resummon your strongest Personas right of the bat. |
The Episode Aigis DLC does not have a New Game Plus option. Upon creating a Clear Save, loading it will spawn the player moments before the final battle.
