Unfortunately, Brilliant Cyclops has no weaknesses. However, it is susceptible to a critical Slash attack, so bring Junpei along with you to knock it down.

Change Relic is weak to Electric, but it also resists Fire and Ice and nullifies Light and Dark. You'll want to bring Ken to deal with this boss since Akihiko is weak to Ice attacks from the Brilliant Cyclops.

How to Beat Brilliant Cyclops

The following tips can help you beat Brilliant Cyclops in battle.

• Focus on Buffing and Debuffing
• Knock Down the Cyclops With Crits

Prioritize the Change Relic First

Compared to the Brilliant Cyclops, Change Relic has significantly less HP. Prioritize taking it down first so that you'll only need to worry about dealing with one boss instead of two.

Use Makarakarn on Koromaru

Make sure that you use Makarakarn on Koromaru to keep him safe from the Change Relic's Light attacks before you take it down.

Focus on Buffing and Debuffing

One of the most difficult parts of this fight is that the Brilliant Cyclops like to use the combination of Concentrate and Megidolaon. Make sure that you increase your defense with Marakukaja and lower their attack with Debilitate so that your team can survive the attack.

Also, if you already have the buffs and debuffs active when it uses Concentrate, use Guard to minimize the damage your party takes.

Knock Down the Cyclops With Crits

Since the Brilliant Cyclops doesn't have any weakness, you'll want to knock it down using critical hits. Junpei is the best character for this since his characteristics give him an increased chance to land critical hits.

If you pair Junpei with Koromaru's Revolution, you'll be landing critical hits more often than not.
