The Sun Arcana, represented by Akinari Kamiki, is a Social Link in Persona 3 Reload (P3R). Read on to learn how to start Akinari's (Sun) Social Link, social stat requirements, schedule, gifts, unlocks, romance options, and the best choices for every Social Link event!

Since there is no option to invite them on a date outside, you cannot give gifts for this Social Link.
Progress the Hanged Man Social Link to meet Akinari. Akinari approaches Maiko and asks who you are. After this sequence, Akinari will be sitting near the Naganaki Shrine.
However, to unlock the Sun Social Link, you must have a Knowledge Rank of Smart and his missing red fountain pen. Talk to Akinari and he will mention the pen, then interact with Koromaru during the night to find it!

Completing the Sun Social Link rewards you with a Worn Notebook, which lets you perform a fusion of the Ultimate Persona of the Sun Social Link!
You cannot romance Akinari, the Sun Arcana in Persona 3 Reload.

The "free from what" response option for rank 8 to 9 yields no points. I tested this twice just now. Only the "finished your book?" option adds +1/+2 with Persona.
