Gems can be farmed in Persona 3 Reload (P3R) by defeating certain Shadows in Tartarus. Learn more on what type of Shadows drop gems, how to get each gem, and tips on farming gems.

First, it is recommended to pray at Naganaki Inari Shrine during the daytime without any story cutscenes. Repeatedly go to this shrine until you get a prompt that you are ''feeling sneakier.'' This gives you a buff that increases item drop rates from Shadows in Tartarus.
While this step is not necessary, it makes Gem farming more efficient since you can get more Gems by defeating less enemies.

I am trying to find Opals and I am not seeing Immoral Snakes nor Iron Dice spawning on 165-to-168 at all (the tail-end of Tziah). In addition, neither Hakurou Musha nor Killer Drive's in-game analysis mentions Opals. Based on this page, Opals (オパール) aren't dropped *at all* until Harabah, and the spawn locations of enemies are also different. https://kamigame.jp/p3r/page/303415481614791582.html This guide is wrong.
