Persona 3 Reload - Status Ailments Guide

Status Ailments in Persona 3 Reload (P3R) are negative conditions that can turn the tide of battle for or against you. Learn more about all of the game's Status Ailments and what they do, which spells inflict them, and which spells cure them in this guide!

Status Conditions Overview

What are Status Ailments?

Status Ailments are conditions cast upon targets that have adverse effects to them during battle. These ailments usually last for a couple of turns until they are cured or the target recovers.

The effects they cause may include losing a turn, taking damage overtime, or lowering a stat. Some spells can cause two or more of these setbacks to take effect.

List of Status Ailments

List of All Status Ailments
Down Dizzy Freeze Shock Poison
Charm Fear Rage Panic Distress

Down

The Down status can only be done to a target should you exploit their weakness. Hitting their elemental or physical weakness will cause them to get knocked prone and lose their turn, and will give you 1 More action!

Dizzy

Much like the Down status, the Dizzy status also leads to 1 More action and will knock enemies prone, but can only be inflicted by critical attacks. Being Dizzy will force a target to lose their turn.

Freeze

The Freeze status causes the target to be encased in ice, rendering them unable to move and lose a turn. During this state, the target will be more likely to be hit with a critical hit.
