How to Beat Elegant Mother (Cocytus)

Stock Up on Dis-Poison

Elegant Mother likes to use Poisma, which Poisons a party member and slowly chips away at their HP. This is especially bad if you still have to fight another Monad Door boss after this fight.

Make sure that you stock up on Dis-Poison from Aohige Pharmacy so that you can cure Poisoned teammates and heal them back up again.

Status Ailments Guide

Don't Bring Ken or Akihiko

For this fight, it's better to leave Ken and Akihiko out of the party. They're the only two members that have exploitable weaknesses during this fight, specifically the Mother's Dark Attacks and the Book's Ice Attacks respectively.

If you've progressed the story to unlock Mitsuru, it's recommended to leave her behind as well to avoid getting targeted by the Tiara's Fire Attacks.

Prioritize Defeating the Minions

You'll want to focus on defeating the Tiara and Book first since they can cast buffs and debuffs respectively. Thankfully, they're both weak to Wind, so you'll want to make use of AoE Wind Skills like Magarula to quickly take them down.
