How to Unlock The Mechanical Matriarch
Meet Auntie Cleo After the Negotiations
The quest unlocks after negotiating an alliance between Auntie's Choice and The Order of Ascendant during An Equitable Arrangement. Meet Auntie Cleo in her office on the fourth floor of Head Office Towers in the ACS Undisputed Claim.
Completing this quest affects Auntie Cleo's ending.

| 1 |  After settling the negotiations during An Equitable Arrangement, Auntie Cleo invites you to meet her on the fourth floor of Head Office Towers. Exit Secure Telecommunications and ride the elevator to Auntie Cleo's Office. |
| 2 | Auntie Cleo greets you personally and tasks you with retrieving a Mech Body at the Automech Production Facility on Praetor. Before you leave Auntie Cleo's office, take the Tossball Card: David Chan inside a vent on the right side of the stage. |
| 3 |  Head back to the Incognito and travel to Praetor. |

The Automech Production Facility is located in the central part of Praetor, west of the Landing Pad. There are two ways to enter the facility, but both routes lead to the inside of the building.
The left entrance provides a straightforward route, but you'll be facing Automechanicals guarding the area. The right entrance is a longer but less guarded route, so take this path if you want to sneak into the facility.
VALERIE calls you as you approach the Automech Production Facility. She'll mention that she found valuable parts inside that can be used to upgrade herself. This is part of her companion quest, Better by Factors.
Enter via the Left Entrance
| Step-by-step Walkthrough | |

| 1 |  Go through the facility by heading left into the open gate. You'll see three Automechanicals guarding this area. You can shoot them down, or use distraction devices to pass through. Enter the large double doors ahead. |
| 2 |  Once you're inside, head for the door near the stairs. |
| 3 | Then enter the door immediately to the right. Inside this storage room is a hidden passage on the left side wall. Interact with the wall and climb down the stairs to the hidden Sub-Facility. |
| 4 |  Head straight for the large door ahead. You'll see the Mech Body inside a display case at the end of the room. Grab the Mech Body, and head for the stairs. |
| 5 |  A small group of Protectorate soldiers will block your path as you walk to the stairs. Shoot your way through and climb the stairs back to the facility. If you haven't gotten VALERIE's Advanced Mod Kit yet, it can also be found in this facility. |
| * | To find VALERIE's Advanced Mod Kit, walk back to the open area earlier and turn right to another large door. Enter the small door immediately to the right. The Advanced Mod Kit should be in a display case in the corner of the room. Take the upgrade to complete VAL's companion quest, Better by Factors. |
| 6 | Once you acquire the Mech Body, you can continue exploring the Automech Facility, or return to Auntie Cleo's Office in the Undisputed Claim to finish the quest. |
Enter via the Right Entrance
| Step-by-step Walkthrough | |

| 1 |  Go to the right entrance and you'll see a Protectorate soldier guarding the balcony. To reach the balcony, head to the right side of the facility to see a rock formation you can climb through. |
| 2 |  Follow the short rocky path forward. You can eliminate the guard from here, or sneak pass him using distraction devices. Jump into the balcony and head inside the door. Be warned that the whole facility is guarded by Automechanicals. |
| 3 |  Climb down the stairs to the facility and head left. Sneak pass or shoot the Automechanicals patrolling this area. |
| 4 | Head for the large door on the left side of the open area. Look for a small door near the stairs to the right and enter it. Inside this storage room is a hidden passage on the left side wall. Interact with the wall and climb down the stairs to the hidden Sub-Facility. |
| 5 | Head straight into the large door ahead. You'll see the Mech Body inside a display case at the end of the room. Grab the Mech Body, and head for the stairs. |
| 6 | A small group of Protectorate soldiers will block your path as you walk to the stairs. Shoot your way through and climb the stairs back to the facility. If you haven't gotten VALERIE's Advanced Mod Kit yet, it can also be found in this facility. |

Return to Auntie Cleo
Head back to Auntie Cleo's Office in the Undisputed Claim. Auntie Cleo immediately speaks to you as you enter the room, and tries on her new formidable body. For your efforts, you are rewarded with 2500 Bits and the melee weapon, Matron's Mauler. This finishes the quest.
Giving Auntie Cleo the Mech Body allows her to help you in Sins of the Past on the Precipice of the Future. Acquiring the Mech Body affects her ending as well.

Help Auntie Cleo Get a Mech Body or Not

| Do Not Help Auntie by Ignoring the Quest | ・If you did not meet Auntie Cleo after the negotiations, she won't have the opportunity to acquire the Mech Body.
・Auntie stays as a disembodied head for the rest of the game. ・This choice affects Auntie Cleo's ending. |
There is no option or method within the quest that prevents Auntie Cleo in acquiring the Mech Body. However, you have the choice to ignore the quest by not meeting Auntie at her office after the negotiations. This will cause Auntie Cleo to stay as a disembodied head for the rest of the game. This choice will also affect her ending.
If you choose to complete the quest and give her the Mech Body, as well as forming an alliance with the Order during An Equitable Arrangement, Auntie Cleo personally provides aid during the final quest.
If Auntie Cleo survives at the end of the game wearing the Mech Body, she will appear in public for the first time and raises a fashion trend for bubble helmets.
