Perilous Journey to the Grove is one of the earliest quests you can get in Fairfield from Huell Chaudry. He sends you over to Spire Grove, where you run into three Auntie's Choice employees, one of whom is Jackson Plum, who plummets to his death.
This then starts the quest A Final Death for Gravity, which rewards you with the Plasmatic Augmented Leap Enhancer (P.A.L.E.) that allows you to double jump.

An Aegis Against the Miasma is a quest that you can start after gaining legal access to the Euphoria Coast Automech Repair Center. Completing this quest and the one after it (Vanquishing the Vexing Vapors) rewards you with the Gas-Energy Deflection Apparatus.
The Gas-Energy Deflection Apparatus can absorb incoming damage and protect you from Zyranium and other hazards.

Better than Nature is Inez's first Companion Quest, and it is important to do it after recruiting her, as it makes her Combat Ability available for use. This quest also decides if Inez will become a DPS (Crabble Graft) or Support (Raptidon Graft) Companion.
Additionally, Better than Nature also teaches you an alternate way of infiltrating the Vox Relay, allowing you to basically skip half of the enemies.

A Sprat to Die For is a relatively simple quest that requires you to rescue a stuffed toy from a minefield. This will reward you with the Scrabbles Perk, which allows you to find 5% additional Bits in containers.
| Side Quest | Reward |
|---|---|
| Arbitrary Measures (Free Market Station) | Tristan (Companion) |
| Beginning of the Endpoint | Marisol (Companion) |
Side quests can provide you with numerous rewards, such as EXP, Bits, and even unique weapons and armor. If you find that you are having a hard time defeating enemies or completing the main quest, we highly recommend doing a few side quests to increase your level and upgrade your arsenal.
Some side quests can provide you with alternate ways of completing other quests, including your main mission. If the main quest's objectives prove to be difficult for you, try completing some side quests, as they can potentially open new ways of completing the main quest.
