|
Slows down time around you when activated, granting you time to think and act safely. Energy drains while activated, draining faster while moving and after each time you use your weapon.

Auntie's Acidic Dematerializer
|
Fires a spray of extremely volatile goo when activated, dealing Corrosive damage at a very short range. Corpses hit will melt away, preventing others from finding them and acting accordingly.

P.A.L.E.
|
A pair of plasma thruster boot attachments that grant their user the ability to jump in mid-air. WARNING: Thrusters fail to fire at too high a falling velocity! |
Gas-Energy Deflection Apparatus
|
Grants a temporary shield when activated, providing temporary health that absorbs any incoming damage. Also repels Zyranium and other dangerous hazards. WARNING! Does not protect against significant falls!

N-Ray Scanner
|
Allows you to see through walls, showing hostiles, wires, and objects of interest. It also grants bonus critical hit chance in combat while the scanner is active.

Rift Anomaly Modulator
|
Matches and manipulates the harmonics of the rift anomalies to temporarily repair the tears they cause in spacetime. |

Gadgets in The Outer Worlds 2 are special tools that grant unique abilities when activated, such as temporary shields, slow-motion time effects, elemental attacks, or even mid-air jumps.
These gadgets can often be obtained through Main, Side, or Companion Quests. Each gadget provides distinct tactical advantages that can turn the tide of battle or improve exploration efficiency.
Perks unlocked through the Science! skill can enhance certain gadgets, improving their efficiency or adding special effects.
Most gadgets consume Energy when activated, and managing your energy is crucial. Some gadgets continuously drain Energy while active, while others use a fixed amount per activation. You can improve your maximum Energy and efficiency by investing in the Science! skill.
