How to Solve IRC Security Console Puzzle

Turn All the Console Power Lights Blue

Inside the security room of the Rift Containment Lab during the An Instrument To Unfold Space & Time main quest, you'll find five console power levers on the wall.

To solve the puzzle, you must turn all the console power lights blue by flipping the levers. However, flipping one lever will also flip the levers next to it. Check our solution above for the correct sequence to pull the levers, including how to make only the middle console power light turn blue to unlock a secret reward!

IRC Security Console Puzzle Rewards

Stun Counter

Outer Worlds 2 Stun Counter Reward

If you make only the middle console power light turn blue, the poster next to it will open, revealing the Stun Counter and Recipe: Stun Counter. This mod grants a 20% chance to Stun the attacker when hit by a melee attack.

Activate IRC Security Console

Outer Worlds 2 Console Activated

Solving the puzzle will activate the IRC Security Console inside the security room, disabling the lockdown contingencies in the Rift Containment Lab. This prevents automech security forces from entering the lab and you'll have less enemies to fight later in the An Instrument To Unfold Space & Time main quest
