+5 Max health per heart collected | ・Perk: Psychopath | Humans you kill drop their heart. Gain a +5 bonus to max Health for each of these trophies you collected. The chance to drop is 100% if the target wasn't hostile with you. |
Scrapper
|
Gain additional crafting materials. | ・Engineering 1 | Automechanicals always drop some additional crafting materials. |
Ninja
|
Ninja: +10% Evasion Chance in Heavy Armor
Ninja: +20% Evasion Chance in Light and Medium Armor |
・No Extra Requirements | While sprinting or sliding, incoming attacks against you have an increased chance to be outright avoided, increasing your Evasion. This is further increased when in light or medium armor. |
Psychopath

Damage increased by +10%, +20% or +40% against enemies with Cautious, Begrudging or indignant factions respectively. | ・No Extra Requirements | Gain bonus damage against any faction you have negative Reputation with. This bonus is greater the worse your Reputation is. |
Shrug it Off
|
Gain 50% of Max Health as Temporary Health | ・Requires 8 or more total perks purchased.

Tinkerer
|

Makeshift Armorer
|
+1 Armor Value to your equipped armor for every 25 hits crafted | ・Requires 4 or more total perks purchased.

Whenever you craft items, your armor gains a temporary bonus to its armor value that degrades from incoming attacks. The bonus armor can take more hits before degrading as your Engineering skill increases. |

Pitch/Tossball Winger

Deal 50 physical damage on a direct hit with a grenade or mine and staggers. |

Secret Recipe

Crabble Rancher

Serendipitous Slayer

Shiny New Toy

Trick Shot

Multitasker

Pistols gain increased sneak-attack damage and are quieterr. Guns of any type with Silencers make no noise whatsoever. |
Lucky Strikes

Deals 20% of nearby hostile's health in damage on killing with critical hit. |

Critical hits do significantly more damage. Critical hits that kill cause the target to explode and deal damage to nearby hostiles. |
Manual Reset

Automechanical is Stunned for 20s

・Hack 1 | You can hack into automechanicals, forcing them to restart, temporarily disabling them. Also gains a bonus to damage against automechs. |
Restricted Access
|
Unlocks restricted items on vending machines | ・Hack 1 | You can access the restricted inventory of vending machines. |
Bit Transfer

Immediately cash out bits from bounty terminals. | ・Hack 2

Bounty terminals now have an option to immediately cash out bits by hacking into bank accounts. You'll need to earn 7'200 EXP to access drained accounts. |
Automech Jammer

・Hack 5 | You passively jam automechanicals, reducing the speed of which they detect you and making it easier to sneak by them. You also gain a small critical hit chance against automechs. |
Automech Anatomist
|
Automechanical weakspot hits deal 50% of your weapon's damage as Shock to nearby enemies. | ・Requires 5 or more total perks purchased.
・Hack 10 |
Your weakspot hits against automechanicals cause shock damage to chain to nearby enemies. |
Plug Puller
|
Permanently disable hacked automechs | ・Requires 10 or more total perks purchased.
・Perk: Manual Reset ・Hack 20 |
Hacked automechs are permanently disabled rather than temporarily disabled. Permanently disabled automechs reward XP and can be looted. |
Inspiring Commander
|
Companion Command meters fill 5% each time the party scores a kill. | ・Leadership 1 | Kills scored by either you or the party charge each companion's ability a small amount. |
Comradery
|
+25% Damage Resistance for 10s | ・Leadership 5 | The party gains significant damage resistance for a short period of time after reviving or being revived by a companion. Taking damage no longer reduces your progress to reviving a companion. |
Busy Bodies
|
Companions will gather materials items when you're away from the ship | ・Leadership 2 | Your companions will gather crafting materials and items for you while you're away from the ship. The amount gathered is based off of XP earned while away. |
Vital Striker
|
+100% Sneak Attack Damage | ・Requires 9 or more total perks purchased.
・Melee 15 ・Sneak 15 |
Sneak Attack damage with light melee weapons is increased. Additionally, in combat your light melee weapons always deal half of their sneak attack bonus. |
Negotiator

Your companion abilities charge faster and you gain positive reputation with all factions. As long as a faction doesn't dislike you, you will become Exalted with them. |
On Your Feet

Pickpocket
|
Allows you to pickpocket NPCs | ・Lockpick 1 | Gain the ability to pickpocket others. Pickpocketing can be activated by crouching up to an unaware human and havving enough backpack skill. |
Bag Check

+5% Critical Chance | ・Perk: Pickpocket
・Lockpick 4 |
While crouching, you can see the contents of a person's inventory before pickpocketing them. Gain a small bonus to critical chance. |
Through the Keyhole
|

Sleight of Hands

Caustic Researcher

・Medical 1 | You now apply Vulnerable faster when dealing with Corrosive damage. Additionally, your critical hit chance against Dissolved foes is increased. |
Connoiseur
|
+25% healing from Food and Drink
+25% inhaler charge from Drugs |
・Medical 1 | Consumed food and drinks heal for more. Additionally, drugs add additional inhaler charge. |
Pharm-thusiast
|
-25% Toxicity received from the Medical inhaler | ・Medical 2 | You unlock an additional primer slot, allowing you to use multple primers at once and toxicity gained is decreased. Using the inhaler with multiple primers applies both effects but all toxicity is combined. |
Nature's Friend
|
Tamed: Will fight for you fo 10s but not follow you
+10% Damage to Creatures |
・Medical 4 | You can temporarily tame hostile creatures by sneaking up to them and having enough Medical skill. Gain a bonus damage against creatures. |
Silent Steps
|
Footsteps are silent for 8 seconds. | ・Sneak 6 | After leaving stealth, your footsteps are silent for a short duration. |
Survivalist
|
All creatures drop raw meat regardless | ・Medical 2 | Creatures always drop raw meat, which can be eaten as food. |
Zyranium Absorption
|
Zyranium poisoning is accumulated 50% slower
-35 Zyranium poisoning on drug crash end |
・Medical 3 | You accumulate zyranium poisoning much slower and are immune to Light and Heavy poisoning after accumulating too much. Maxing out your zyranium poisoning will still kill you, however. |
Inhaler Overload

Crash Recovery

While crashing, you continuously regenerate a small amount of health. |
Hungry Guns
|
100% Bio-Mass Ammo Pool Size

・Perk: Caustic Researcher

Guns that use bio-mass as ammo can hold twice as much before needing to be reloaded. You also deal more corrosive damage. |
Nature's Best Friend
|
Tamed creatures will not follow you buyt will fight other enemies nearby permanently. | ・Perk: Nature's Friend

Tamed creatures are now permanently tamed, rewarding XP but can't be looted. |
Lasting High
|
-50% Inhaler Heal Effectiveness while Crashing

Duelist

Duelist: On Perfect Block, stun the target for 8s | ・Melee 1 | You gain the ability to perform a perfect block with melee weapons. Timing your blocks against incoming melee attacks will stun the attacker. |
Run and Hitter
|
+25% damage onj your next hit with a 1-handed melee weapon
50% damage on your next hit with a 2-handed melee weapon |
・Melee 2 | After sprinting for a short duration, the first melee attack performed gains bonus damage. This damage increase is larger for 2-handed melee weapons. |
Echoing Blows
|
Heavy Melee weapons deal 50% of their weapon damage

Your melee attacks deal a small portion of damage in a large cone in front of you. The damage of the cone is increased for two-handed weapons. |

Tit for Tat
|

Face Reader

+20% Damage to humans | ・Observation 5 | In conversations, options that reduce reputation with a faction are highlighted before choosing them. Additionally, gain a bonus to damage against humans. |
Tracker
|
Minimap tracks enemies current position and detection radius | ・Observation 3 | Hostiles on the mini-map are no longer hidden by the shroud - the area outside the player's filed of view - and have their facing shown. |
Keen Observer
|
Keen Observer: +25% Weakspot Damage | ・Perk: Trick Shot
・Observation 8 |
You gain increased weakspot damage when crouched and not moving. |
Electro-Therapist
|
+20% more stacks of Electrocuted applied when dealing Shock damage
Scramble: Will fight for you for 5s |
・Science 1 | You now apply Electrocuted faster. Weak Automechs become Scrambled instead and will attack their allies for a duration and take damage over time. Does not work with leaders and bosses until health has been sufficiently reduced. |
Rapid Recharge

Energy Recharge Rate +500% for 5s. Cooldown: 30s | ・Science 1 | After dropping to 10% or less gadget energy, energy recharges faster for a few seconds. |
Slow-more

+25% Evasion Chance while in TTD

Contingency Screen

You can now apply Chilled faster when dealing Frost damage, and enemies killed while Frozen will shatter, dealing frost damage to hostiles in the area. |
Targeting Scanner

Focusing on a target with the N-Ray Scanner will mark them. Marking targets prioritizes them for companions and causes the party's attack against them to regenerate your energy. |
Zyranium Powered

Sprayer Prayer

Many of your lies are more believable and will more likely be accepted as true. Additionally, the likelihood that enemies will target you is reduced. |
Ghost
|
Invisible to enemies and deal bonus damage. 3 minutes cooldown. | ・Sneak 2 | If yo're crouched when an NPC starts investigating you, gain Camouflaged for a short duration. Has a cooldown between activations, which decreases based on Sneak skill. |
Grim Visage
|
Frightened: The target flees from combat for 8s. Does not affect automechanicals. | ・Requires 6 or more total perks purchased.
・Perk: Intimidator ・Speech 9 |
Scoring a kill will temporarily apply Frightened to human and creature enemies. Strong enemies and bosses cannot be Frightened until their health is reduced. |
Tall Tale Teller

・Perk: Charlatan ・Speech 10 |
Only your most outlandish lies aren't believed, being able to lie about more things. Gain damage to enemies not targeting you directly. |
| Serial Dabbler | -5% Companion Ability Charge Time | ・Progress In Pursuit of Purloined Propaganda | Learning from the serials of Commander Zane & Buddy, you better lead your crew. Companion abilities charge somewhat faster. |
Defuser
|
Adds defused mines to your inventory, allowing you to plant them. | ・Explosives 3 | Whenever you disable a mine, it is added to your inventory so you can place it yourself. |

Open up the Character Menu and find the Perks you currently have on the Perk Screen. Here you can see the different available perks the game provides and how to unlock them.

The following are the consistent requirements to unlock a perk, do note that some perks require a combination of these pre-requisites to unlock them.
Once these requirements are fulfilled, the perk can be purchased and will be constantly active throughout your playthrough.

Perks also appear from gameplay and exploration, appearing as rewards for quests or doing certain specific activities. These perks will appear also on your Perk Screen, so make sure to check it to properly equip these perks!

Perks are upgrades you can provide to your character and companions during your playthrough. These upgrades will be permanently available in that run, altering your gameplay style and making your Commander and companions unique in every run.
