How to Unlock Diabolical Drones of Doom
Accept the Task at the Fairfield Bounty Terminal
When you first arrive in Fairfield, the Auntie's Choice troopers will all be talking about the drone problem. Head over to the jail and look for a computer terminal next to its front door. Interact with it and accept the WANTED: Drones bounty to get this task.

Go to the Abandoned Power Substation West of Fairfield
The drones can be found at an abandoned power substation near the western coast of Paradise Island. Head west from Fairfield to reach the substation. On the way, you'll encounter 3 Protectorate Wasp MK1 drones guarding the road to the substation.
Fight or Disable the Hover Drones
There are 2 ways to deal with the Hover Drones. You can either go in, guns blazing, or you can pass a skill check to disable them without triggering combat. The regular way has you fight multiple waves of drones. But, they're pretty squishy, so it shouldn't be any trouble.
Alternatively, if you have Engineering 2, the Electro-Therapist perk, or the Manual Reset perk, you can interact with the Engineering Access port near the entrance to the substation to disable all the drones in one go.
Claim Your Reward at the Bounty Terminal
Once all the drones have been dealt with, fast travel back to Fairfield and return to the Bounty Terminal. From there, claim your bounty for killing the drones to complete the task, Diabolical Drones of Doom.
Completing this task nets you 1000 XP, an Advanced Decryption Key, as well as 350 Bits.
