How to Unlock Controlling for Convenience
Talk to Persephone Doyle in Her Coffee Shop About Convictions
To start the Controlling for Convenience side quest, talk to Persephone Doyle in the Caffeintegration Point at Laplace's Garden in Cloister. Choose the dialogue options that expand about convictions and make her realize that you are not part of the Order.

| 1 |  Head to the Caffeintegration Point at Laplace's Garden in Cloister. |
| 2 |  Talk to Persephone Doyle at the bar of the shop. Choose the following dialogue options to trigger her quest: 1. What are convictions? 2. I've got time to kill. Hit me. 3. Choose either personal issues, professional setbacks, or both. 4. That's it? I don't feel any different. or 4. Thanks for that. I feel strangely better. 5. No, actually. I'm an Earth Directorate agent on an important mission to save Arcadia. You have successfully unlocked Persephone's quest if she invites you to talk after her shift. If not, the conversation will end and the quest choice will be unavailable. |
| 3 |  Persephone will lead you out to the back of the shop. Agree to get her a sample of the drug and she'll give you a passcode to use in the terminal. She'll advise you that you can get a keycard from Laureate Beckett to gain entry to the Water Treatment Facility. |
Gain Entry to the Water Reconditioning Plant

| 1 |  Head to the fountains at the plaza. You can find Laureate Beckett sitting on a stool nearby. |
| 2 |  Talk to Laureate Beckett. Exhaust his dialogue and accept his quest Deviations under Duress. Next, select the following choices: ・While I have you, there's something else I'd like to discuss. ・Can you speak rumors about an experiment involving the Garden's water supply? ・You have a spy in Laplace's Garden. Her name is Persephone Doyle. |
| 3 | Beckett won't be bothered by the fact that Persephone is a spy. Instead, he will ask you to hand over an altered sample of the drug to her, and give you the Water Reconditioning Keycard as well as a passcode. |
| 4 |  Alternatively, you can lockpick the Water Reconditioning Plant's door if you don't want to snitch on Persephone. However, this is only possible if you pass the skill check. Note: Make sure to lockpick the door when the patrol guard is not around to avoid combat and successfully infilitrate the facility. |

| 1 |  Go to Water Reconditioning. Use the keycard you got from Beckett or lockpick it to enter. |
| 2 |  Continue further inside then use the terminal. Read all the messages and select Floculation System to access sample collection. Finally, input the passcode to proceed. |
| 3 |  Hack 7 Required (Optional) If you pass the skill check, you can read the Observation logs about the experiment and Laureate Beckett. |
| 4 |  Use the tube beside the terminal to get the sample. Note: Handing out the Perspective sample directly to Persephone will automatically fail the optional objective Create an Altered Sample. |
Mix Liquid Tracer into Perspective

| 1 |  If you want to complete Laureate Beckett's request, use the mixer on top of the desk to mix the liquid tracer and alter the sample you have obtained from the tube. Note: Creating an altered sample will permanently lock you out from giving the pure Perspective sample to Persephone. |
Deliver the Sample to Persephone

| 1 |  After obtaining a sample, exit the facility and make your way back to Persephone at the back of her shop. Give the Perspective sample to Persephone to complete her quest. Alternatively, if you give the altered sample with liquid tracer to Persephone, you need to report back to Beckett to finish the quest. |

| Altered Sample | Requirements: Must have revealed to Beckett that Persephone is a spy and mixed liquid tracer to the sample.
Results: Gives an additional Plasma Pistol Frost Converter and its recipe as a reward, and +1 Reputation points for the Order of the Ascendant. This choice unlocks a game ending for Sub Rosa and the Order. |
The main difference on whether or not you will mix the liquid tracer is the amount of EXP and rewards. It will also change the ending of Sub Rosa depending on the decision, but this is entirely subjective.
